• Biographical / Historical note:Our Town (1940) was a film directed by Sam Wood for Principal Artists Productions, the production company owned by Sol Lesser, and distributed by the United Artists Corporation. Harry Chandlee adapted the screenplay from Thornton Wilder's play Our Town (1938).
